LIGHTNING POLICY
When you see lightning or hear thunder, immediately suspend activities and go to your car. If you are unable to get to your car, please go to the nearest concession stand patio, restroom, or middle of the pavilion on the 20’s field. The lightning light will be activated and the siren(bull horn) will sound 4 times. All practices/games will be suspended for 30 minutes. Only when you see the light go off and hear the siren (bull horn) sound 2 times is it ok to go back to the fields.
Girls Youth Softball is played in both the Spring and Fall at T&C. The Spring Season (generally March through May with registration beginning in January) generally consists of 3 outings (games and/or practices) per week. The Fall Season (generally late September through mid November with registration beginning in July) generally consists of 2 outings (games and/or practices) per week.

LIGHTNING AND THUNDER PROCEDURE AND POLICY
When you see lightning or hear thunder, immediately suspend activities and go to a shelter. A metal vehicle or substantial building is a safe place. Wait until 30 minutes after the last observed lightning or thunder before resuming activities. The lightning light is located by the softball fields on the tallest lightpole. When flashing, please have everyone exit the fields to a safe place. In addition, we will use the "air horn". When you hear "four blasts" from the air horn, exit the fields. When you hear "two blasts" from the air horn, you may return to the fields.
T&C's Rainout number is 498-4636. You can also check this website for additional information.
